Membership

Vasa Park relies on our members as a vital source of support for our programming and facilities. Members play an important role in the vision and future of the park. Scandinavian Park, Inc. holds numerous community events throughout the year, celebrating Scandinavian and Nordic traditions, including; music, art, crafts, food, and dance. These events are open to the public and persons of all ethnicities are welcome to join and enjoy. Vasa Park also serves as a learning center for local schools and scouting organizations.

Heritage Walk

Vasa Park's beautiful garden Heritage Walk was established in 2009 to give park patrons a way to honor family and friends for generations to come. The garden is peacefully located near the gazebo and river, featuring numerous flowering plants native to the Fox Valley. Benches are conveniently located for park visitors to sit and reflect or enjoy the garden's colorful beauty. Purchasing a paver is a great way to support the park and leave a lasting legacy for future visitors.
